It was my first time going into alcohol stores and I was super impressed with the packaging I saw. So beautiful but what an illusion. I had a folder full of research, and images taken at various shops. I have a BFA in fashion design so it was easy enough to transfer those skills to package design research and communicating these ideas to the small marketing team I was developing that summer. Through this intern, she recommended a graphic design friend also in Bordeaux, working within the wine industry, we worked together and designed the packaging’s first iterations.
