The main ingredient of Brooklyn Brewed Sorrel
The drink "Sorrel" happens to be named after the main ingredient- a beautiful red flower that looks more like a rose 🌹 when whole and is actually a member of the hibiscus family.
This flower packs a big punch of antioxidants, creating a rich ruby-red color and a florally sweet flavor. We brew it with several other all-natural ingredients. We bottle and let it age to give it a rich and complex taste.
The taste? Think: hibiscus, ginger, allspice, cinnamon, and orange peel all brewed, then aged together to create an exciting drink that's been a part of our Caribbean heritage and African legacy. So good and so beloved for centuries, we had to finally bottle up our family recipe in full Brooklyn NYC chic-realness
Brooklyn Brewed Sorrel is currently served in select bars, restaurants, and grocers from Napa Valley to Manhattan and has been poured at Michelin star darlings like Côté NYC. We also look forward to serving you for your events, projects, gathering, and any celebrations in between!
