Brooklyn Brewed Sorrel & Cheese Pairing
Who would've thought that Brooklyn Brewed Sorrel, our Caribbean mocktail many people know and love, would pair well with cheese? For the non-drinker this is revolutionary! So often at fancy gatherings, we see wine and cheese being served and haven't a sensory clue what it's all about. A drink and food that together set off a reaction so fine and delightful.
I learned about all this when we attracted one of our first buyers, a cheese and charcuterie shop in downtown Brooklyn. Experts at cheese and also pairing, they instinctually knew our sorrel would be a hit in their shop for their fellow cheese lovers. They experimented with our Sorrel and a variety of cheeses and educated us and our fans on how to do it right. Such an amazing experience. I was blown away as I paired various kinds of cheese with Brooklyn Brewed Sorrel.
