And the people stayed in.... and did what? Reclaiming our time during Covid-19 pandemic times.

Nzinga Knight, founder of Brooklyn Brewed Sorrel mocktail, nonalcoholic beverage. Zero proof bottled authentic Caribbean sorrel.

This time of being shut in due to the Corona virus (Covid-19) can be a blessing and in fact the time to truly reclaim our time and do some things we’ve been wanting to do but lacked some of the time or focus to do- a project, organize, spring cleaning, introspection. You decide.

Lack of social obligations is not a bad thing for many of us. Many of us have things that we’d like to focus on, projects we’d like to do, books we’d like to read, we wish we had time to exercise but rarely feel like we can get it in without sacrificing important work or time with loved ones. Between the commute to work and getting prepared for work, social obligations and more, with most Americans being forced to work from home and just about all events being cancelled we’ve now reclaimed at least 3 hours back of our time each day.

The writing of Kitty O’Meira is spot of for the reality and possibilities  of this season:

“And the people stayed home. And read books, and listened, and rested, and exercised, and made art, and played games, and learned new ways of being, and were still. And listened more deeply. Some meditated, some prayed, some danced. Some met their shadows. And the people began to think differently. And the people healed. And, in the absence of people living in ignorant, dangerous, mindless, and heartless ways, the earth began to heal. And when the danger passed, and the people joined together again, they grieved their losses, and made new choices, and dreamed new images, and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully, as they had been healed. ~Kitty O'Meara'~

This time, lets choose more wisely than before and when we’re free again let’s continue this practice. I pray we make mindful choices in how we spend our time and resources, how we treat our bodies, each-other and the earth. We don’t have to dash here, there and everywhere in this season and eat and drink whatever we barely have time to digest. If you’re like many of our customers you’re into life-sustaining and invigorating food and drink. And if you’re yet to be a customer come join us and enjoy taking your first of many sips.

"I ordered a large bottle just to give it a try. Needless to say, it was gone in a matter of days... and I didn't share with anyone! I placed another order, this time for several bottles so now I don't have to worry about running out. Love it!
